AN EPIC OF A LIFE-LINE POETRY I don't really know how to go about my day I'm like a child that just lost his way Not knowing what else to say Whether to cry or to pray So here I am frowning and smiling Digging and pulling The memories of my growing The days of my christening Out through the powers of my thinking It was in the last moon, before the year passed slightly The twentieth day when the moon shone brightly And the stars dazzled lightly It was the moon of celebration Five days to the Christian commemoration Of the birth of the saviour of all generations Children lit up in jubilation Adults took on reparation While the aged gave graceful adoration Old bones sat under trees Little ones hovered round them like bees To listen to the moonlight tales Tales that now form blood tiles of today And speak of the memories of yesterday In that small community of Abavo On a calm Monday morning without rainbow I petered out of her...
